Carolin Wiedemann

Carolin Wiedemann is a member of the editorial collective of spheres. As a freelance journalist for media outlets, such as Spiegel Online, Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung and Missy Magazine, she writes about migration, feminism and societies of control. She studied Sociology, Communications and Journalism in Paris and Hamburg, after which she worked as a research assistant and lecturer at the Institute for Sociology in Hamburg. In her phd thesis she explored conceptions of collectivity and subversion online, with a specific focus on Anonymous.
