Dr. Cecilia Palmeiro teaches Contemporary Latin American Studies and Gender Theory at NYU in Buenos Aires and at National University of Tres de Febrero (UNTREF). She has published the books Desbunde y felicidad. De la cartonera a Perlongher (Debauchery and Happiness: From Cartonera Publishers to Perlongher; 2011, 2019), Néstor Perlongher. Correspondencia (Correspondence by Néstor Perlongher; 2016), and the novel Cat Power. La toma de la Tierra (Cat Power: The Take of the Earth; 2017). She is a member of the Ni Una Menos (Not One Woman Less) feminist collective, and together with Fernanda Laguna, she is the co-curator of the live-archive/exhibit High on the Tide: Diary of a Feminist Revolution.
