Fabio Iapaolo

Fabio Iapaolo is Research Fellow in AI, Data and Society at the Institute for Ethical AI, Oxford Brookes University. His work emerges at the cross-section of digital geographies, the philosophy of science and technology, computing, the materiality of information, and the politics of automation. He has previously served as Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Turin, joining the research cluster DIGGEO – Digital Geographies of Socio-political and Economic Spaces. He holds a PhD in Urban and Regional Development from Polytechnic of Turin, with a one-year Visiting PhD Fellowship at Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design as a member the research group KIM – Critical AI Studies.
