Kalindi Vora

Kalindi Vora, Professor of Gender Sexuality and Women’s Studies, and Director of the Feminist Research Institute at University of California Davis. She is author of Life Support: Biocapitalism and the New History of Outsourced Labor (2015); and with Neda Atanasoski Surrogate Humanity: Race, Robots and the Politics of Technological Futures (2019). She is editor of anthologies “Bodies, Markets and the Experimental in South Asia” (Ethnos: Journal of Anthropology, 2014) and “Postsocialist Politics and the Ends of Revolution” (Social Identities, 2018). Her work on labor, gender, race and technology appears in journals including South Atlantic Quarterly, Radical Philosophy, Somatechnics, Catalyst: Feminism, Theory, Technoscience, and Current Anthropology.
